Loved this book

I love historically fiction as a general rule. This story has ousting characters that I could clearly see as I listened to this book.

A Story that stays with you

Dick Hill is at his very best in bringing Deutermann's Pacific Glory to life. You will feel a personal relationship with each character including pain, laughter, tears, anger, revenge, love and hope. Be ready to be pulled into the pages.

I have read and reread this book. The men who's bravery in often hopelessness gave their all still bring tears to my eyes.

Deutermann’s best

I really enjoyed this reading. Dick Hill does a good job, the story is well done. I have listened to several Deutermann books, this is his best, imo.

The story interacts with the most heroic action of WWII in the Pacific.

Spot on!

The level of detail and description pulled me back onboard my destroyer (late 1970’s). The narration and presentation kept my interest and I couldn’t wait for the next chapter.

Thrilling & Accurate Historical Fiction

Captain Hill delves into the lives of the Greatest Generation of Navy men & women would fought in the Pacific during WWII. Rich in detail and Navy lore, Hill’s pulse pounding story makes the reader turn the next page. Apart from some distressing pronunciations by the narrator, the story is spellbinding.

It took me on a ride and made me feel engaged with the story line and characters.
