Well I hope this never happens

I thoroughly enjoyed the book. I really believe the author grasps. What life would be like without law and order medicine and food from the grocery store. I don’t know exactly how I would prepare for something of this nature. I’m sure our society would collapse if this were actually to happen.

Scary and Heart wrenching!

OMG! Reading this book at this time in American history.... with the nation torn to shreads over a controversial election and fear of our future, this book scared the shit out of me. Why, because I could so easily see this playing out. We as a nation are on the edge. A great story that everyone should read. High praise for the author who told a hard truth. Respect!

Horrifyingly eye-opening

A grim look into human psychology in the wake of a disaster that utterly destroys any semblance of the structure and life we all know. A necessary read, and warning, for everyone.

Easily the most powerful and well-narrated book I’ve come across

Wow, just wow. This book impacted me deeply. It lays out in clear detail just how unprepared we are for an EMP attack. I hope this motivates our leaders to make our infrastructure EMP proof. And the narration - I’ve never come across an audible book that was so expertly done. The narrator did an excellent job with changing voices to let you tell apart the characters. One of the best books I’ve come across this year. Get it.

just as good the 2nd time

While I have read this book before, I still found myself riding the emotional roller coaster right along with the characters in the story. As the narrator told the story, I could close my eyes and imagine myself the story.

Must read.
