The con: Harvey Metcalfe. A brilliant, self-made guru of deceit. A very dangerous individual. And now, a hunted man.
With nothing left to lose, four strangers are about to come together, each expert in their own field. Their plan: find Harvey, shadow him, trap him, and penny-for-penny, destroy him. From the luxurious casinos of Monte Carlo to the high-stakes windows at Ascot to the bustling streets of Wall Street to fashionable London galleries, their own ingenious game has begun. It's called revenge, and they were taught by a master.

"Archer...has an extraordinary talent for turning notoriety into gold, and telling fast-moving stories." (The Philadelphia Inquirer)
"Archer is a master storyteller." (Time)
Not a Penny More, Not a Penny Less is clever, funny, audacious and a great read from start to finish! This book is the epitome of the Spanish phrase "Revenge is a dish best eaten cold" especially as we've all met people we'd like to do this to. While not a true story - it stems from Archer's first public brush with a serious problem - bankruptcy - and if I recall correctly, NPMNPL not only helped put him on a sound financial footing, it was the start of his writing career. For a witty, amusing read - perfect for a plane, or an afternoon when you really want to be somewhere else - Not a Penny More, Not a Penny Less will take you there.
This read is a great fantastic read at any price and at the low cost rate of only 9.99 this book is excellant. Its quick paced and captivating from the start. I hated to arrive at my destination as I listen in the car. I highely recommend this book.
I chose this book by Jeffrey Archer because my husband read it (turned the pages) and enjoyed it so I also enjoyed it, but was disappointed when I discovered the entire book was NOT READ. There is a little over a chapter that is completely missing I assume it is because they interviewed the author and decided to just quit early When I read the REAL ending I was disappoointed They really got all but $1.24 NOT the $101.24 where the reader stos reading.
I found the plot of this book to be enthralling. Jeffrey Archer's range of storytelling is phenomenal. Once I start any of his books, I have difficulty stopping before I reach the end... Martin Jarvis was stellar, as always, with the narration.
I really enjoyed Kane & Abel, but was really disappointed with this title
He does not get to grab the attention of the reader. Contrary to other titles by Jeffrey Archer, this is a waste of money
The performance was OK

Wish I could change it on the website, not having to make a phone call from Mexico to the U.S.
