    "Better than Castle"

Maybe it's because writing is better than TV. Maybe it's because the relationship between the main characters is more complete. Maybe it's because the moments of suspense seem less artificial. I just enjoyed this book.

Understand, this is not great literature, it's just a fun, good read. Also, I don't need to try and figure out what the British slang is or try and understand the Scots accent.

I like the $7.95 sales because it gives me an opportunity to try a book for which I might not otherwise risk the credit.
I look forward to the possibility mentioned in the recent Audible survey to preview books by first chapters...or return them if unsatisfactory. I would never have purchased this book had that opportunity been available.

"I love the Niki Heat books"
Would you listen to Naked Heat again? Why?

I love these stories. They are another twist on the characters from the TV Series.

I love in the books, that Niki and Jameson, get HOT and STEAMY!!!

The drama is great and the humor is excellant.

What does Johnny Heller bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Johnny Heller adds depth to the characters. I can't imagine anyone else narrating a Richard Castle story.

Steamier than the show! Heller does a great read with the NYC accent. Well written. Fun.

    "Castle at his best"

If you like Castle on TV then you've got to get this one. It's like watching an 11 hour Castle.

I love all genres of books. However, when I listen to audio books as I clean, garden, drive they are better with a lot of heat!

    "Laborious"

This might have been a bit more tolerable if narrator was better. I am happy to say that I did finish the book but it just seemed to go and on. Like other listeners the book itself reminded me of a bad TV show. Not horrible but of all the books I have listened to this is just bearly average.

Enjoyable, but found the accents hard to decipher at times. Some of the names were confusing too.

    "very disappointed"

I couldn't even get through the first half. The reader's voice seemed whiney, and it was hard to tell the characters apart. I had listened to the first book a year ago and I don't remember it being this bad. The plot was clich??d and nothing seemed to happen. I usually listen to the J D Robb series, and that reader is very talented.
