Enthralling
I thought this was going to be just like all the other cop books I ad read; however, it surprised me and I especially enjoyed the plot as a movie within a "possible" movie as a book.
The narrators were superb! I have sent a few audiobooks back because the narrators' voices were not appropriate to the content. In this case Edoardo Ballerini and Jay Synder's voices were right on point! Great job,

Engaging story
Where does NYPD Red rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
The story was engaging and kept my interest enough that when I got home I continued listening while making dinner.
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
The plot was not predictable and the characters were no cookie cutter.
What does Edoardo Ballerini and Jay Snyder bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Definitely the atmosphere of emotion.
