    "A light murder mystery"
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I usually like suspenseful murder mysteries and while this book has a few suspenseful moments, it's not my usual read. With that said it was nice to have a more laid back story for a little break. It's cleverly written and there are some funny parts. It wasn't predictable in that I didn't guess who the killer was. Overall, it kept me entertained which is the point.

    Which scene was your favorite?

When Cherry is found in the chocolate fountain...pun intended!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Yes

"Murder of a Chocolate-Covered Cherry: A Scumble Ri"
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I really enjoyed the narrator. She has a pleasant voice and was very good at voice changes. I would listen to a book that Christine Leto narrated for sure!

What did you like best about this story?

The narrator and the main person in the story Sky.

What does Christine Leto bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She has a very pleasing voice and makes you want to listen rather than read.

Do you think Murder of a Chocolate-Covered Cherry needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

I thought it was an OK book but I probably wouldn't read the follow - up book.

    Any additional comments?

The story was OK but not a book I would listen to twice.

"Not going to listen to the series"

I listened to the entire book waiting to be engaged -- other readers had enjoyed it. But the romance was not interesting. Although the main characters had some potential (unrealised), the minor ones were phoney cut outs and basically dull. As was the overall plot. The reader made the best of an ordinary text.

Would you try another book from Denise Swanson and/or Christine Leto?

    CHristine Leto yes

Would you be willing to try another book from Denise Swanson? Why or why not?

I found a heroine who can't take care of feeding herself and figuring out her personal life a bit trying and uninteresting.

Have you listened to any of Christine Leto???s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    DOn't know

Do you think Murder of a Chocolate-Covered Cherry needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
