Fun mystery

This was a fun little mystery story. I enjoy this author and hope the series continues.

Pretty good mystery

Edna Davis is accused of poisoning her handyman, so she does what any elderly woman living in a small town would do. She solves the crime herself. The villain is obvious from the beginning, but there are some twist and turns that keep you entertained and interested in the ending. I'm not sure if it's Edna's status as amateur or her elderly stature that has her a bit confused at times, but there are some instances when you wish she was a bit more alert in her thinking. All in all this is a solid and entertaining mystery.
The narrator was very good. She did a good job with the northeastern accent and the different voices for the characters.
