Mrs. Polifax is a winner

Cute detective type series.
Stories are cut albeit unbelievable, but cute clean stories, very enjoyable. I got tired of all the foreign settings and found this one that I thought would be all at home, and it was mostly but not all of course. Narration is great!

I love Mrs. Pollifax series

Dorothy Gilman's books are always enjoyable tales with a charming leading character, Mrs Emily Polifax. The unlikely little lady, turned spy , uses smarts and surprise to pursue , and apprehend, the bad guys.

Fun change of plot for Mrs P novel
Love to brain chill with a Mrs. P novel every now and then. Its like eating a cream puff, nothing really there, but enjoyable anyway. This is different than the usual formula for Mrs P books and I enjoyed the change up, made me want to read the next.
