I love books and animals.I enjoy all sorts of genres, anything from history to supernatural.
I believe this is the first MONK novel that this author wrote.
It was entertaining, and I could see the characters and situations that the author was creating.
Although he had the spirit of the characters, I couldn't decide if it is the narrator, or the character Natalie that is whinny.
But after this revelation and seeing another episode of MONK, it is the character and the author did a good job of capturing that aspect of her.
The reason I gave this book a 4 star instead of 5 is because the author insists on using the word 'said' too much (in my opinion). Then the characters talk to each other all you zero in on is 'said... said... said...' , a little annoying but tolerable.
Overall, if you are a MONK fan you will most likely get a kick out of this book.
Life is great!
I would recomemd with the caveat that its strictly another way to enjoy Monk.
I would have to it was Monk! The narrator did a fine job. When I can close my eyes and see a character at any piont in the book then the narrator did his/hers job well and that's what Laura Hicks delivers.
