Great story, writing and performance.

The descriptions of locations are vivid and more important accurate. The characters are all so deep. The performance brings it all to life exquisitely. An incredible book and listening adventure.

Enjoyed the Russian

Good change of pace involving Russian characters and locations. Good story and great narration. These are starting to get a little predictable though.

Enjoyable but complex

Found story too long and complicated. Kept having to go back if my attention was distracted even briefly, but still enjoyable.

Pronunciation

I wish the reader would have talked with a native Russian speaker in order to get the pronunciation and the accent more correctly.

Would you consider the audio edition of Moscow Rules to be better than the print version?

I am biased to audio books. You can listen throughout the day while doing other tasks. This read was easy to follow. Great depth developed around the characters.

Difficult to listen due to pronunciation mistakes

While I am a fan of Daniel Silva and did enjoy the story line for "Moscow Rules", I found it difficult to listen to. The narrator didn't have the necessary coaching to pronounce many of the Russian words. As an American living in Moscow, I loved knowing exactly where the story was taking place. Hearing familiar words mispronounced drove me mad. I'm looking forward to Silva's next novel.

Gripping action

The usual complex plot with an unexpected reversal twist culmination. I ook forward to the next movel.

The Voices...

I've read this book myself and for some reason I didn't enjoy the actor/performers voice overs for the Characters.

Another nice mixture of art and spying. Gabriel is still one of the very best with stories that are only too plausible in their depiction of evil.
