Different

For some reason, I just didn’t get into this audiobook as much as I usually do with the In Death series. Perhaps that it was much shorter than the regular novels and not as detailed was off putting. We also didn’t see much of any secondary characters. Overall, it was still a good listen perfect for an afternoon. Eve has to find out what happened on the ferry to Ellis Island, when a woman is murdered and the killer and body disappeared without anyone seeing them leave. Roarke gives her a hand also, when it involves Homeland Security and their dirty dealings. Narration was great!

I wish this was longer!! Glad to hear justice for Eve! Plus I’m liking The relationship between Summerset and Eve!

A Short Story with an Intriguing Twist

If you could sum up Missing in Death in three words, what would they be?

Ferry.....Blood......Intrigue

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Yes. It was a good mystery story. It kept me guessing.

Which character – as performed by Susan Ericksen – was your favorite?

Roarke.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Where Did All the Blood Come From? Eve Dallas investigates.

Any additional comments?

No.

An unexpected pleasure!

One of the best challenges with an unexpected resolution. A nice additional layer to the continuing saga of Eve and Roark

Book 29.5 of the Best Series Ever!

The 'In Death' series, written by J.D. Robb & narrated by Susan Ericksen, is a futuristic suspense series. The story is set in mid-21st-century New York City & it centers around Lieutenant Eve Dallas & her billionaire husband, Roarke.

My husband & I both love all of the J.D. Robb, 'In Death' series. We first began listening to them when they were on CDs. We've listened to the entire series, in order, three times so far! If we're driving somewhere, you can be sure Eve, Roarke, Peabody, McNab, Capt. Feeney, Mavis, Dr. Mira, Nadine, Summerset & the rest of the gang are in the truck with us. We love all of the major characters & look forward, with anticipation, to the new audiobooks that come out in February & September every year!

If you're looking for an awesome mystery series, a little romance with a bit of the futuristic thrown in, then you'll love this series! Believe me, you just can't go wrong, but be warned... once you get started, you'll be hooked!

Terrific Story

Thus far I have disliked every novella in the Dallas series. This one was way different and a great story. It is intriguing and keeps you entertained for hours. The ending was a surprise. Take time to enjoy this book in the series you won't regret it!
