Romance as you expect it

sometimes a romance is just what you need. So here is a detective fairy tale. Done adequately and well read I will not look for book 2

I love the original Nocturne Falls Series, and now the Mystery Series too! Kristen Painter chose well when she selected the narrator, Hollis McCarthy. She gives life to Jayne wonderfully, as well as the other zany characters to be found in Nocturne Falls. I can't wait for more of these fun stories.

Great Book

If you liked the Nocturne Falls books you'll love this first book in the mystery series set in Nocturne Falls. Sorry was very good. Skipped once in awhile and then repeated but it was a glich I think. I would highly recommend this book.

Winter is coming... To Nocturne Falls!

This book was fantastic! I really love the original series Nocturne Falls that this is a spin off from, and I really loved this book. I did not want to stop listening!! In this story we meet Jayne Frost, the Winter King's daughter. She lives in the NP ( North Pole) and works for Uncle Kris.. as in Santa Claus! Some employees have gone missing from the Toy Store in Nocturne Falls and her father as asked her to look into the disappearances. I love the fact that these are all new characters, but we still have the Nocturne Falls characters in the background, Jayne even interacts with a few. I cannot wait for the next book in the series. I really hope it is soon!!

Lighthearted Mystery

This was an enjoyable listen, liked the reader's voice. Plot was lighthearted and it was a fun mystery.

narrator randomly does accents

I liked the book but the narrator randomly does accents for characters. There is no rhyme or reason so it is very distracting.

A little steamy with a lot of fun

narrator brought Jane Frost to life. The author made me smile in many different ways. Jane was playful and funny. Cooper and Garrett were extremely sensual, this many different smiled.

Awesome!

Listened to the book 4 first now backtracking to finish the others in the series
