Publisher's summary

The extraordinary new audiobook in the #1 New York Times - best-selling series from the grand master of adventure.

In October 1943, a U.S. destroyer sailed out of Philadelphia and supposedly vanished, the result of a Navy experiment with electromagnetic radiation. The story was considered a hoax - but now Juan Cabrillo and his Oregon colleagues aren't so sure. There is talk of a new weapon soon to be auctioned, something very dangerous to America's interests, and the rumors link it to the great inventor Nikola Tesla, who was working with the Navy when he died in 1943. Was he responsible for the experiment? Are his notes in the hands of enemies? As Cabrillo races to find the truth, he discovers there is even more at stake than he could have imagined - but by the time he realizes it, he may already be too late.

Not one of the better books for Cussler

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

The story is a typical cussler story good suspens, good action and a good performance

What other book might you compare Mirage to and why?

This book compares to just about all other books in these cussler series, it is getting old perhaps if you are a newer Cussler reader this may not be the case. CLive time for some new twists for us old timers that have followed you. Throughout the years.

The Oregon crew at its best, taking on an enemy with an incredible weapon. Loved it!

Love, Love, Love this book.

This is my favorite of the Oregon Adventures. There's just something in the way it flows... I've literally read the book once and just finished listening to it for the 3rd time. Scott Brick is fantastic. And so is the Crew of the Oregon.

Great plot very exiting especially with what’s going on in the world Today

I like the versatility of the characters they can expand roles but it is all still driven by the strength of the chairman

Full of action and intrique

Fictional take on Nikola Tesla's works and experiments, with emphasis on magnetic fields. Great story, lots of suspense, and as always, Scott Brick is brilliant.
