The stakes are high if his gamble fails.
Jessica Croft has begun a new life in San Francisco, ninety miles from the sinister secrets and madness that destroyed her family. I only got through three quarters of this book - the characters are too shallow and predictable and the language is clipped and unrealistic. I would not recommend this book.
Probably not as I did not enjoy the sing-song writing style.
I would not recommend this book.
Author, Attorney, Advocate
I would absolutely listen to this book again because it kept me on the edge of my seat.
The psychological suspense felt just a tad like Silence of the Lambs.
Yes, but unfortunately I had to break it up.
The book was intense and not overly graphic. Strong characters with a lot of passion. I would definitely recommend this book. I can't wait to listen to more of Jenny Hilborne's books.
was not one of my favourite books I found it a little too long
Probably the character of Jessica
I am afraid the accent of the New Zealand character Alex was really off putting
Yes I think I might be wary about reading another book
The book 'Cry Baby' had had several really good reviews, might be tempted to try it !
