Another One of her "Bests"
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I really found the relationship between Kinsey and Guy special. She kept trying to save him, but he couldn't listen to her. He needed to go back for some closure. Sadly, that's what did him in. The book was full of suspense and the murderer came as a huge surprise to me. I also love any book that has Dietz in it. It allows us to really see the vulnerable side of Kinsey. She acts tough, self sufficient, independent, and fulfilled. Dietz being around lets us see why Kinsey is a loner. She's afraid of abandonment. That's why she tries to limit her contact with her family, also. This book delves into why Kinsey is the way she is and I love it. This has got to be in the top 10 of the Alphabet Series for me.

A mystery till the end
Sue Grafton was so good at crafting complex plot lines that leave you guessing till the end. This was one of the best I’ve read (I’m reading them in order.). The reader (whose reading I enjoy) slipped up a couple of times, but I continue to enjoy her performance.

Very good book
really didn't notice the difference between the narrators, both Kay and Peiffer catch the essense of Graftons writing and bring it to life.
