I absolutely love audiobooks. There is simply nothing like having someone read you an engrossing story; not to mention you can get things done while you listen. I always have one on the go.

    "speech impediment"

I was so disappointed with the reader of this book that, despite it being a fairly average book, I felt compelled to write my first review. I am not sure what she was going for but the constant hesitations and pauses as well as the horrible depictions of a "Canadian"? accent (I am guessing)and the confusing elevations at the end of sentences - making them all sound like questions made the book so difficult to listen to that I almost quit. Too bad since I was excited to find a mystery set in Canada for once.

    "Atlantic Canadian delight"

I was pleased to find a nice summer read that seemed to be set in Atlantic Canada where I live. I was totaly drawn into the twisting story line and surprise ending. Anyone from the Halifax / Lunenburg area will enjoy hearing the names of many of our local streets, places and things placed in a well written novel.
