    "humorous and fun"

If it wasn't for bad luck, Mattie would have no luck at all. She and Hurley continue to figure out crimes and their relationship. However the crimes of Sorenson are no match to their relationship. This is a great read and I look forward to listening to the next book.

    "Pesonally, disappointing"

I loved the first few books, but maybe it's because I'm 50+, but i see Mattie making so many foolish decisions that I couldn't wait for the book to be over. Thinking that gambling is he best way to grow the settlement money you've received, losing over $30K and still wanting to go back and try some more--ridiculous! I guess it's all about advancing the plot/drama, but the fact that Mattie and Hurley can't just talk about their feelings is also ridiculous.

I was ready to drop the series, but just realized I'd already bought the next book, so let's hope she learns how to talk to Hurley, ignore the ex-husband and get her job back--or, duh, move to another city.

    Fingers crossed.
