A complicated, interesting plot.

This story is intresting & very complex. It holds your interest all the way through. I felt sympathy for Harry Bosch & anger for those who tried to do him harm. I have sympathy for his age & loss of previous abilities. A satisfying ending.

Michael Connelly at his best. Good story, love the Harry Bosch character. Kept me amused through my whole commute.

Absolutely Amazing

Absolutely loved this book. I have read every Harry Bosch before this one and this is by far my favorite. The narrator fits my visualizations perfectly. And it is awesome to see Harry as a civilian. Great read.

Best One Yet

I’m not quite sure why Connelly chose to switch from third to first person in the middle of the series, but as far as I’m concerned, this is how it always should have been. As for the narrator, I thought for sure they’d never find someone as good as Dick Hill, but Cariou killed it. This is my favorite book so far in the series.

Trap door was locked

Another excellent Bosh story (unfortunately the same profanity abuse the author is fond of). One glaring problem is after the fight Bosh is able to climb through trapdoor of his house without unlocking it.
