Publisher's Summary

‘Monsieur Poirot, somehow or other I’ve just got to get rid of my husband!’ No sooner had she uttered the words than Lady Edgware’s husband was dead, brutally stabbed in the neck. The evidence against her is overwhelming, the case cut and dried. But what was the truth behind it all? What enemies lurked in the background of the victim’s life?

Hercule Poirot is on the case, intrigued once more, ready to investigate murder in the library....

John Moffatt stars as the great Belgian detective in this BBC Radio 4 full-cast dramatisation.

    "Fun story"
Where does Lord Edgware Dies (Dramatised) rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I love to listen to dramatised audio books while I drive. I will listen to this as my go to. Mainly cause Hasting is in it. Really wish Dame Agatha had written more with Hastings.

What did you like best about this story?

    I moves quickly.

What does John Moffatt bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I think he is joyful to listen to.

    Any additional comments?

For some reason I call this a fun read.

    "Too Talky Not Enough Poirot"

This radio version is not a good version. Too talky by the protagonist and not enough Hercule Poirot. I adore Poirot and have the full TV and full Audio sets all of which are brilliant fun. The tv version of this is excellent but this audio version is not up to standard.
