Publisher's Summary

When reporter Ellen Gleeson gets a "Have You Seen This Child?" flyer in the mail, she almost throws it away. But something about it makes her look again, and her heart stops - the child in the photo is identical to her adopted son, Will. Her every instinct tells her to deny the similarity between the boys, because she knows her adoption was lawful. But she's a journalist and won't be able to stop thinking about the photo until she figures out the truth. And she can't shake the question: if Will rightfully belongs to someone else, should she keep him or give him up?

She investigates, uncovering clues no one was meant to discover, and when she digs too deep, she risks losing her own life - and that of the son she loves.

Lisa Scottoline breaks new ground in Look Again, a thriller that's both heart-stopping and heart-breaking, and sure to have new fans and book clubs buzzing.

"Caught me from the first sentence"

I am very picky with audio books, as they are harder for me to get interested in than reading a book. This story grabbed me with the first sentence, and kept my attention through the whole story.

"Could have condensed the first 6 hrs"
Is there anything you would change about this book?

Too much little details in the first 6 hrs, I kept losing interest had to re-start the book several times. The last 6 hrs were very good, I even cried..

Would you be willing to try another book from Lisa Scottoline? Why or why not?

    "Two thumbs up!"

I think this was the first Lisa Scottoline book I've read and I liked it! She had a way of keeping the reader interested and thinking.. "What would I do under those circumstances?". It's a tough situation, to choose between morals and selfishness, but I like how we followed her on the journey even though she didn't know if the outcome would tear her heart out. I loved the twists at the end. Just when you thought it was over and you dried your tears, there came another chapter, another layer. The narration was great and I came to love the little boy, Will and his "voice" in the book. There was a very real feel to this book, as if it could happen to anyone, and the way that everyday life was incorporated left you feeling like you were just walking along with her through her life. Rooting for her but also feeling for the parents who lost the little boy. If you are a mother, this book will have you thinking of your own children and how hard it would be to lose them and what lengths you might go to. It was a very insightful book that left me glad that I had discovered it.
