Great Narration!

Loved this book ! i first read it on paperback was hooked on it . decided to listen to it the second time i was not disappointed ! The narration was perfect! Made it even creepier ! 10/10

Excellent Writing, Story, and Narration, but...

...I am not a fan of sound effects and music in my audiobooks. Also, it kept telling me to go online to look up certain things at the ends of the chapters, which I found annoying and distracting. These things yanked me right out of an otherwise compelling and well-crafted serial killer story that was on-par with Thomas Harris's Hannibal series. Duane S. is one of my favorite writers, and while it's my first time reading Anthony Z. and hearing John G., I'd like to give them another try WITHOUT all the interruptions.

People are being way too harsh...

I really liked this book. I will admit that I enjoy my share of Koontz, Patterson and Coben, however. I was really in the mood for a book that wasn't too, too deep (you know the kind...the ones you put in your living room to make yourself look intelligent) and this definitely fit the bill.

Everyone is reviewing it as terrible. Listen, the genre is what it is. I loved the narration and I was in the mood for the gore. If you don't like books like that don't read this one. Don't crucify it, though, for not being a crappy romance novel.

It's good. Obviously he left it open for a sequel. When it comes out, I'll read it.

I loved this book. I listened while working out and only while working out, so I spent more time on cardio than usual because I had to hear how it would end. I still listen to it, if I get bored with my iTunes, I just start the book from the beginning. Well done. A great listen!!!

Glover, as always, was wonderful and brought the story to vivid life. This story was well written and gripping from start to finish.

disturbingly fantastic

I loved this book. it's very discriptive and read very well, which was perfect for this story. I'm just getting into audiobooks and the narrator is very important to capture my attention, and this guy is amazing. 🧡

Level 26

If you want a really good thriller this story is it. For me it was one of those stories that I just could not stop listening to. The narrator, John Glover, was excellent. There is an interactive on-line visual that is great as well. The killer in this is one of the strangest yet..to say the least. I must say that I will be waiting for Mr. Zuiker's next book!

What made the experience of listening to Level 26 the most enjoyable?

I had a hard time turning this book off.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Level 26?

The interactive portion, to see clips of the storyline as it was unfolding was a new and unique experience.

What about John Glover’s performance did you like?

It took me a while to get used to Mr. Glover's voice, about a quarter into the book, I didn't notice the performace, I was so facinated with the story.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I wanted the next installment in the series, I'm facinated with Serial Killers; books, movies, TV shows.

The sound at the end of the chapters freaked me out.
