Another great story

They should turn these books into a TV series it would be awesome. The 6th book is definitely better the the couple before it.

How to end Misconduct

Cal and the guys have done it again! C. G. Cooper has written a fast paced, engaging novel that ensnares your attention and doesn’t let go until the end. Smart writing that brings current topics to life and makes you wonder if it could really happen...and then shudder just a little. DJ Holte gives a wonderful performance that progresses the storyline and keeps your attention.

Engaging from start to finish

Lethal Misconduct could be called a political medical thriller. It's a true thriller, as it lays out the clear who-done-it and then starts the doomsday clock. There is enough of the mystery held back to satisfy mystery fans. Great characters and a strong plot wrapped up in a tight package.

Surprising!

Would you listen to Lethal Misconduct again? Why?

I might. I tend to not re-read books once I've read them because I remember the particulars. However, I do re-read them after a few years. I might "re-read" this one on audible.com if its still available in the future.

Any additional comments?

I love C.G. Cooper's books, but this is the first one I've listened to. The storyteller is very talented and has a voice meant for this type of book. The right inflections, the right changes in voice when called for. I love all of the Corps Justice books and before, I would have recommended reading them, but now, I would actually recommend listening to them as you can do that when you can't read. The flow of the book (which I've read) was just as good, if not better, than reading it. On the first listening, I listened for two hours before taking a break. I'd recommend it for sure!

Excellent story! Satisfying ending!

This is an exciting suspence/thriller worthy of some of my favorite authors like Jack Silkstone and Tom Clancy.

During a trip to Columbia, Hunter Price discovers a wonder plant that he will eventually turn into a cure for cancer. When the secret is about to fall into the wrong hands Dr. Price grabs his notes and all of the cure he can smuggle out of the laboratory and makes a run for it setting off a chain of events that will eventually end with his cure being turned into a weapon.

Will those determined to weaponize his discovery win and use it to kill millions of people? And who is behind the sinister plan? What do they really want?

C.G. Cooper does an awesome job of writing a thriller that kept pulling me along from beginning to end. I didn't want to stop listening I wanted to know what happened next.

D.J. Holte does a fine job with the narration. For the most part he kept his character voices distinct enough so I could always keep straight who was speaking at any given time. Still many voices sounded very similar so that it was occasionally confusing which is why I could not give his performance 5 stars.

Overall I enjoyed this book very much and can see myself buying more books in the series.

I received this book from the narrator in exchange for an honest review.

OK, if you don't have something better to read

C. G. Cooper writes wildly unrealistic stories about a group of Marines operating mostly in the US and reporting directly to the US president. If one can cast aside disbelief, his novels are quick listens and fun action thrillers. This novel deserved 3,5 stars.
