This is a great third installment in the Lady Justice Series. It starts off trouble free with Walt and Maggie avoiding then planning their wedding. But if you are familiar with Walt and his gang of friends, you know that things are never peaceful for very long. Lots of action in this audiobook.

The third book in the Lady Justice series takes us to Hawaii for a good portion of the story and the detail given during the characters' visit there leads one to believe the author has had first hand experience. :)
The story itself is decent enough, though it was fairly predictable in many ways (like the other two were). However, the characters are growing on me to the point that I really don't mind.
As before, the narrator does a great job at capturing the personalities of the characters and his comedic timing is pretty much spot on. Still, there is the issue of noticeable mouth noise in his audio, which may be distracting to some listeners.
If one can look past these things, they will probably enjoy journeying through the world of Walter Williams and friends.
There were plenty of laugh out loud moments for me. The two that really stand out is when Walt was waiting on Maggie to finish in the bathroom and the gang's journey to Hawaii. I received this audiobook for free from the author for my unbiased review.
I download over 100 books a year. I don't even know how to go about my day without listening to a title. It's my happy place!
This is my third listen for this series but it may be my last. As much as I like Walt, and this narrator, I found this listen too much of a stretch.
I love that Walt and Maggie finally tied the knot but the artifacts backstory, with a little Jimmy Hoffa mystery interspersed, was just a bit too much to take. In books one and two, Walt and CRAP seemed real. In this listen, not so much.
I am addicted to books. Nothing makes me happier than crawling inside a good book.
Yes I've listened to this series he's doing and I love how he does these books.
This book has so many situations that are believable. I love the 4 main characters Maggie, Walt, Mary, and Willie. They work together perfectly. I was provided this audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator in exchange for an unbiased review via Audiobook Boom.
I love audio books! I love to read and this opens up even more time to enjoy a good story.
Book 3 finds us in Hawaii with our much loved cast going for a wedding. Not just any wedding but Walt and Maggie's wedding. Once again we find adventure and laughter. I really liked how Walt and Maggie's Hawaii trip reminded me of my own trip to this magical island.
It's refreshing to listen to a book that doesn't give a rats add about political correctness. Narrator does a superb job. Looking forward to hearing more of the Lady Justice series.
This is the second Lady Justice audiobook I've listened to, and I loved it. Great characters, lots of adventure, some laughs, some romance... I predict an upsurge in Hawaiian weddings based on the lyrical descriptions of the tropical delights of the Islands. I also commend the author for taking a look at the sad history of the native Hawaiian people after they met Europeans.
The only complaint I have is that the narrator pronounced Hawaiian words and place names differently than I do. I checked one of them - the port of Hilo, Hawaii - and confirmed that it's pronounced hee-low, not high-low. Now, if it were the tourists that were mispronouncing words, I'd figure it was deliberate, but sometimes it was a native speaker. Tsk.

The author provided me with a complimentary copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review. Another hit in the series! I absolutely love this series, and George Kuch's performances are right on target for the character of Walt Williams and the supporting cast! I love Robert Thornhill's writing style. And, yes, I would still be saying all of this even if he HADN"T given me the book to review!
There was one point toward the end of the book where Walt suddenly started stumbling over all the Hawaiian words. But up to that point he'd been rattling them off with no problems at all. That slight inconsistency was a little annoying. Other than that it was great!
Post apocalyptic listener with some thrillers mixed in. Follow me on twitter at @drewsant
I was given a copy of this audiobook through Audiobook blast for an honest review and I’m glad I did. ‘Lady Justice Gets Lei’d’ is a fun mix of action and humor. While this is the third book in the series it was my first and you don’t need to read the first two and can jump in here for those like me who love Hawaii. The characters are interesting and funny while the plot jumps from one issue to another with no down time in between (definitely don’t go on vacation with Walt if you want a relaxing time, he’s a magnet for trouble). The writing is good and the humor is great with some homages to a time gone past thrown in. The biggest issue I had is that the narrator while good for the roll, didn’t research the Hawaiian names so ended up getting them wrong (Haleakalā and Lahaina most notably). Overall a fun read!
""The rest should be a piece of cake.""
The third, but completely stand alone, book in the Lady Justice series, continuing the musings and adventures of the retired realtor turned cop. This time, following his previous fun as a Presley impersonator, Walt decides to take bride-to-be, Maggie, to Hawaii for their marriage ceremony as well as two friends to act as participants. But the course of even the truest of loves does not always go smoothly ...
This is such a delightful series and narrator, George Kuch, gives yet another impeccable performance as the witty, grumpy and very human Walter. His other characterisations are good, too, but Walt truly lives through Kuch's voice, warm with just the right hints of emotion, whatever is called for in the text.
Although not my favourite in the series so far, this was such an enjoyable romp with gentle (but very funny) humour, I would recommend it to anyone and I look forward to book four.
"A LAUGH A MINUTE"
