My 1st Brian Freemantle Dislike!
Too much time spent developing love efforts, drug interests and not very good psychco bable, to the detriment of the overall story. The international conspiracy idea was good, even great, but it appears the author (who I am enjoying GREATLY, in everything else I've listened to) tried to write a romance novel. And not very well. The characters were unusually childish, almost as if it really was a different writer, not the one I have come to enjoy, even admire. Had the 2 books not been put together I doubt I would have purchased the 2nd one.
