It is 1191. During excavation work at Glastonbury Abbey, an ancient cross is discovered buried several feet below the ground. Inscribed on it are the words: 'Here lies buried the renowned King Arthur'. Beneath the cross are skeletal remains. Could this really be the legendary King Arthur?
As the secret of the bones' hiding place is passed from generation to generation, those entrusted to safeguard the king's remains must withstand treachery, blackmail, and murder in order to keep the legend intact.

This book is written by several different authors about the possible discovery of "King Arthur's Bones". The parts are a bit uneven but I enjoyed the book. If you have enjoyed any of the other books by the Medieval Murderers you will enjoy this book. If you've not read one before, this would be a good first book. Paul Matthews does a great job with the narration. One note to Audible, since this book is written by multiple authors, a list of their names and brief outline of their plot in the story would be nice. I had to look the book up on the web to get that information. You want us to buy, you should have all the information we need to make a decision:)
Mystery and Fantasy Lover
I don't know. I might try another and if it is as dull, I would not buy another. I like the Medieval Murder concept but not this particular book.
No. I didn't even finish it because I got bored. The first part was fine but it went on much too long!!
I don't think that I have ever heard Paul Matthews before. He read it well enough to take another book by him.
It would depend on whether the director made it more exciting in the trailer. As I wrote, I like the concept of murder in Medieval Times so I might. Sometimes, directors make a better movie than the book.
"Enjoyable Murder Mystery"
As Mysteries Go Its a 8/10
