Look out Philadelphia - a new sheriff is in town!

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

It was something completely different to have Walt Longmire out of his element but showing everyone good old Wyoming style and justice.

Which character – as performed by George Guidall – was your favorite?

Walt and Henry - always. It was nice to see Vic back in her hometown and meet the family - sort of.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Henry in Cady's hospital room. It brought tears to my eyes.

Any additional comments?

I enjoyed this book very much. Seeing Walt in another environment was interesting. It was also a very touching story with Walt's concern for Cady; Henry's concern for both Walt and Cady and the new characters we meet. I am completely enthralled with the Longmire series.

I'm Hooked

Just as I was with the TV series, I enjoy this Longmire series. I did not know it existed before it came on television. The stories are a little more involved and Longmire is a lot smarter in the books. Henry Standing Bear is the most interesting of all. I have someone to imagine as I listen. Vic is a lot different. I'm off to the next in the series!

It is what it is. Goood

Henry loves birds, owls, turkeys, and cannot forget crows. Eagles are important in the future present & past. Walt knows this from Henry as he learns in his ways.

Amother excellent performance and plot

If you could sum up Kindness Goes Unpunished in three words, what would they be?

Western, street wise.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Kindness Goes Unpunished?

Walt and Vic!

Have you listened to any of George Guidall’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

George only compares to himself. There is no one else close. This is just another impecable paerformance for the master!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Western justice, Philly style.

Any additional comments?

Love the series and the charactors. Johnson's good work continues to impress.

Very Good!

I really like the Walt Longmire series! Craig Johnson does such an excellent job in portraying all the characters and the story with humor and wit. The plot is always very good! These books are so much better than the TV show "Longmire", but I like the TV show too! However, they only have 50 minutes to tell a story on TV, with the book you get details. I enjoy these books, so does my husband. We listen together while driving.

Mesmerizing narration, enduring characters

GeorgeGuidall is perfectly Walt Longmire. Each character is unique and perfectly drawn. I’d love to meet all of them. Wonderful story of love, loss, loyalty and choices.

George Guidall

As far as I'm concerned, George Guidall IS Walt Longmire. I haven't listened to one I didn't like and other than the story being great, I love the subtle - or not - of Bear and the brassness of Vic. Wonderful combo of writer and narrator.

Always Enjoyable

These books are always very entertaining. I have listened to a dozen of the Longmire books and have found all, including this one to be wonderful stories, great word-play, humor and excellent narration.
