I loved the story of Muldoon and DaCosta. However...the narrator made it a trying listen. She at least needs to "deepen" her male voices. What a distraction listenening to. You had to really concentrate on who was speaking. I hate that. Otherwise, a great story.
I felt that Joan was not the right woman for Mike. She was dull and insipid despite the fact that she was suppose to be this career woman working for the "white house." It felt like she didn't have the confidence and even the maturity to carry herself forward as someone who knows where she's going and what she wants. She was wishy washy with Mike and a lot of times I felt her talking down to him and lecturing him on his actions as if she's his mom. At the same time I think Mike has mommy issues, what with him falling for an older woman, plus he lets her get away with her judgemental attitude and I felt his lovesickness attitude for her and acts more like a depressed teenager looking for her to notice him and waiting for her calls etc. The author did not do Mike Muldoon justice with this book. Sam and Marilu's story was a more interesting story to listen to
No spoilers! Love HOT, sexy books w/a plot. No vampires, paranormal, teens 4 me. I also review in exchange for books-lots of fun surprises!
Sure, this is a GREAT series
I liked getting to know Mary Lou and seeing her evolve
I enjoyed her performance of all characters
I'm really enjoying the Troubleshooters series...NOTE: There is a lot of strong language and some sexual situations
