Publisher's summary

#1 WORLDWIDE BESTSELLER • Harvard professor of symbology Robert Langdon awakens in an Italian hospital, disoriented and with no recollection of the past thirty-six hours, including the origin of the macabre object hidden in his belongings.

“One hell of a good read.... As close as a book can come to a summertime cinematic blockbuster.” —
USA Today

“A diverting thriller.” —
Entertainment Weekly

With a relentless female assassin trailing them through Florence, he and his resourceful doctor, Sienna Brooks, are forced to flee.

Embarking on a harrowing journey, they must unravel a series of codes, which are the work of a brilliant scientist whose obsession with the end of the world is matched only by his passion for one of the most influential masterpieces ever written, Dante Alighieri's The Inferno.

Dan Brown has raised the bar yet again, combining classical Italian art, history, and literature with cutting-edge science in this captivating thriller.

Danny done did it again!!!!!!!!

What made the experience of listening to Inferno the most enjoyable?

The layman's terms in which Dan Brown writes his stories, and the way in which Paul Michael (the Narrator) reads Brown's books.... he reads them as if he wrote them himself!

What other book might you compare Inferno to and why?

Angels and Demons
The Divinci Code
Any of Brown's Books

What about Paul Michael’s performance did you like?

The way in which he really knows Dan Brown's thoughts and how he reads Browns books as though they were his own.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes

Any additional comments?

This book is definitely one of Brown's BEST!!!!!!!
Why it didn't get the media attention that his other books did, I may never know.... but it is a shame!

To see if I can pick up on the twist

What did you like best about this story?

The fact that real places are tied into the story, and that it's a history lesson rapped up in modern world issues.

Have you listened to any of Paul Michael’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Outstanding as always!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me think about our world today and what may be ahead for future generations.

This was not as good as the others.

Although I enjoyed this book, I did not enjoy it as much as I enjoyed Dan Brown's other books.

One of Dan Browns Best

If you could sum up Inferno: A Novel in three words, what would they be?

I really liked the ending, it wasn't a cliche. The attention to detail and history makes all his books great.

Loved It

Love this story the narrator is perfect for it. The way the story unfolds to the reader is different and engaging. I loved the real places and things he uses. I would look them up or listen to them well I "read". So I was very involved with it :-)

Something so deadly could be so good?!?!

Where does Inferno: A Novel rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It's definitly one of the ones I would listen to again.

Who was your favorite character and why?

The Shade was one of them. The way is presented and went on thru the story was so creepy, irritating, as well as attenion getting. Everytime he came around he always had me not wanting to miss what was getting out. Then to find out his true ideninty and his reason for what he was doing what he did was spellbinding.

Which scene was your favorite?

When the mask was found in the tomb.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes , there was a certain question that Robert Langdon was asked and I asked myself. He was given an option. After that I stuck with my answer but it had the wheels in my turning, turning so much I went to work and asked several co workers the same question along with the option after they answered. What a conversation starter.

Any additional comments?

The story was great the only reason why I didn't give 5 stars for story was because there were times when descriptions were drawn out. It was like it kept going and going. I caught myself saying YA YA YA, b/ the story was great I had to stay with it. So glad I did.
Defintely a recommender.
