Publisher's summary

#1 WORLDWIDE BESTSELLER • Harvard professor of symbology Robert Langdon awakens in an Italian hospital, disoriented and with no recollection of the past thirty-six hours, including the origin of the macabre object hidden in his belongings.

“One hell of a good read.... As close as a book can come to a summertime cinematic blockbuster.” —
USA Today

“A diverting thriller.” —
Entertainment Weekly

With a relentless female assassin trailing them through Florence, he and his resourceful doctor, Sienna Brooks, are forced to flee.

Embarking on a harrowing journey, they must unravel a series of codes, which are the work of a brilliant scientist whose obsession with the end of the world is matched only by his passion for one of the most influential masterpieces ever written, Dante Alighieri's The Inferno.

Dan Brown has raised the bar yet again, combining classical Italian art, history, and literature with cutting-edge science in this captivating thriller.

Excellent

Loved it. Can't wait to see the movie. Dan Brown. The villain I must say I agreed with and this issue really hit me hard. I almost want this to happen because our species is in trouble

Dan Brown Predicts Viral Pandemic

Dan Brown once again writes a thrilling novel in 2013 involving a viral pandemic unleashed by rogue bioengineer Bertrand Zobrist that seems to predict the current Coronavirus pandemic.

Listen and learn

Woah, didn't expect that to happen. I really enjoy learning about world symbology while relaxing to a story.

Riveting and Timely

Dan Brown delivers a sobering tale, expertly read by Paul Michael. Terrific historic and art details, surprises throughout.

Would make a great movie

I loved the story , always a new twist . I did detect a slight bit of liberal idealism shading some of plot. Not overtly, but at times I found myself making a stink eye while listening. Something possibly noteworthy, I noticed a bit of repetition. some chapters were somewhat mirrored in places, possibly just a Jedi mind trick?

Much of the same stuff, but with a bit of a twist.

Unlike Mr. Brown’s previous books the start already throws you into the action, but sadly it quickly dies off for a very long time. It very much does double the art history than the other books. Although in the last quarter you are shocked with a most satisfying series of actions and explanation. That made it worth finishing.

Very entertaining.

I really enjoyed this reading of Dan Brown's book Inferno. Paul Michael had just the right variation in character voices for them to be memorable and believable. Very well done.
