I couldn't set it down. The ending was unexpected.

This is a great series by James Patterson. Every bit as good as the other series (Alex Cross and Lindsey Boxer).

When the kids were abducted.

What did you love best about I, Michael Bennett?

I love the story line, intrigue and danger. Cleaning up a town from drugs and violence is great. Taking down drug lords with the threat of retaliation is so real.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Shamus. I love grandfatherly type figures

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Any additional comments?

Not too fond of the kids getting shot, but needed it for story line I suppose. I have to know what happens as to: (a) does he get the girl; (b) do they have to go into hiding forever; and (c) do they get the drug lord. Can't wait for book 6 to come out. When will that happen?

Mr. Patterson, I have read most of your books and have enjoyed all. I also like to watch you on Castle. Hope to see you on the show again.

What made the experience of listening to I, Michael Bennett the most enjoyable?

I love the Michael Bennett series. The reader does a great job of playing the parts.

What other book might you compare I, Michael Bennett to and why?

Vigil Flowers series by John Sanford. Virgil is a ladies man just like mike, and also a son of a preacher.

What does Bobby Cannavale and Jay Snyder bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Bobby voice is mike!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Lots of laughs, and gasps.

Will the real Michael Bennett please come back

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I miss the more snarky Michael Bennett. The story was as always, entertaining and I like the narrator. But I was not very surprised by many of the twists, I found them predictable. Looking forward to seeing the Bennett game new living arrangements in the witness protection plans, perhaps Mary Katherine will finally get the attention she deserves from Mike in N. Dakota.

The narrator was very good

Michael and the kids.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

All the Cross nd Bennett books are super thrillers. Yet the scenes with the families are so real and so human. They give the deceptive and me a welcome rest dorm horror.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I liked everything about this except for maybe the ending being a cliffhanger. I don't want to wait to find out what happens. It just kinda stopped abruptly and I looked at my iPod to see why the story stopped and was surprised to see that it was the end of the book.

Oh...Michael Bennett for sure.

Too many great scenes to pick a favorite.

I was really worried when the boys got shot.

First time listening to a Patterson book. I have a collection of his books in hardback, paperback and on my Kindles, but this is my first time listening....thanks Audible.
