Publisher's summary

A Wall Street Journal Top 10 national best seller

Number one Kindle best seller in "Mysteries & Thrillers"

Who is hunter?

Who is prey?

Who will survive?

Award-winning true-crime author Robert Bidinotto makes his stunning fiction debut with a best-selling thriller that has earned more than 200 "5-star" rave reviews from readers.

Two people, passionately in love.

But each hides a deadly secret.

He is a crusading vigilante, on a violent quest for justice.

She is tracking this unknown assassin, sworn to stop him.

Neither realizes the truth about the other.

And neither knows that a terrifying predator is hunting them both....

From its first moments, Hunter takes you on a nonstop thrill ride: from the top floor of the CIA, to the marbled corridors of Capitol Hill...from the posh hotels of downtown Washington, to the city's mean, violent streets. It introduces a colorful new hero for our time - and a dazzling heroine every bit his equal.

A spy mystery...a crime thriller...a passionate romance: Hunter is a genre-bending novel unlike any you've read. Deviously plotted, filled with vivid characters, and propelled at a breakneck pace, it's a tale as memorable for its provocative ideas as for a rousing climax that has readers cheering.

If you enjoy the thrillers of Lee Child, Stephen Hunter, Brad Thor, and Vince Flynn, you'll love Hunter.

Critic reviews

"One of the best vigilante thrillers since Clancy's Without Remorse.... Hunter delivers in a way few thrillers do. From the opening kill shot to the climactic showdown, Hunter strikes home with the power and pinpoint accuracy of a Barrett M99....A fantastic debut thriller....A solid five stars." (Stephen England, author, Pandora's Grave)
"A joy...one of the great romances....To say that Hunter is a well-structured novel is an understatement....Even the lesser characters are vividly realized [and] memorably etched with a few deft strokes. Bidinotto seems incapable of creating a cardboard figure....I demand a sequel....I want to return to the exhilarating moral atmosphere of Bidinotto's story." (Roger Donway, The Atlasphere)
"This book has all the elements of an exciting thriller--strong conflicts, romance, action, and characters you care about. I especially loved the concluding paragraph, and you will too. Buy it." (Larry Abrams, author, The Philosophical Practitioner)

Concepts Americans need to understand

"Justice" and "legal" are two entirely different concepts and seldom jive in our American judicial system today. Robert Biinotto does a clever job interweaving these facts into a highly suspenseful mystery thriller. This book is a must read for people to understand the difference between justice, compassion, and leniency.

I was waiting for Dylan to say those 2 magic words

What did you love best about Hunter?

I kept waiting to hear Conor Hall (as Dylan) say "I'm Batman". I swear he sounded just like him from the animated movies. This could have been a tale from the Batman comics. Vigilante trying to right the wrongs of the justice system by taking matters into his own hands. Yep, that's Batman. The closest I got was when Dylan said to Annie "want to visit my secret lair" I screamed I knew it. It's him. Anyways--- I loved this book. It kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Action - Intrigue - Romance - Loved it all.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Yes. Even though some of it was predictable, I was still anxious to see how it played out. Loved the final confrontation between Wolf and Dylan. Although I had hoped Annie would have put up more of a fight in her confrontation with Wolf, she was dressed in an evening gown so I will let that slide. Dylan's race to save Annie and Suzie had me squirming. True story - I was listening to that section and looked down at my speedometer and saw that I was going 85.

Which character – as performed by Conor Hall – was your favorite?

Obviously Dylan. Conor's rough, gravely portrayal of Dylan was amazing. They need to hire Conor to voice Batman in an animated movie. He did an amazing job. I loved the interaction between Dylan and Annie every time they would meet up or talk on the phone - His "Hey you" to her coyly reply "hey you" was enjoyable to hear. I smiled every time I heard it.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I didn't cry but was worried when the secrets started coming between them (dylan and annie), I cheered when the bad guys got what they deserved.

Any additional comments?

Overall, this was well worth the listen. I was drawn in from the beginning (maybe it had to do with Conor's voice), I am a huge comic fan.

My Hero

Very entertaining. Loved the character, Dillon Hunter. Well developed and believable for fiction. He was tough, dark, able to leap tall buildings in a single jump, yet tender and vulnerable.

Very Tight Story

This is my first time listening to this Author--LOVED it! Great characters and the depth that went into them. The Narrator was on point, perfect! The story was well paced, timely and informative about the criminal plea bargaining/furlough situation.
