Now he's the hunted and Stephanie's the hunter, and it's time for her to test her skills against the master. But if she does catch him...what then? Can she bring herself to turn him in? Plus there are other things keeping Stephanie awake at night. Her grandmother has set up housekeeping in Stephanie's apartment, a homicidal maniac has selected Stephanie as his next victim, her love life is in the toilet, she's adopted a dog with an eating disorder, and she can't button the top snap on her Levi's.
Don't forget to download the rest of the Stephanie Plum series.

I don't think it is bad at all. It's not the best of the series but surely not the worst. I didn't think the reader was as bad as portrayed either. Growing up in Chicagoland I didn't have any trouble with her accent, in fact I think it gives the read a little character.
The only thing I hate is paying $11 for 3 hrs.
sorry to say but this Narrater leaves everything to be desired. She can barely distinquish between charactors and it makes the story very boring. I am actually having to pay more attention to the story to stay up with who is supppose to be talking.
I usually love the Stephanie Plum books and probably would have loved this one if it weren't for the horrible voice of the narrator. Make sure you listen to the samples first.
i am not a fan of this abridged recording.
i like the janet evanovich books about stephine plum they are good stories.
the abridged recording pissed me off
please get the unabridged recording
I listened to the first 4 books and was quit intertained by the reader. I just down loaded 5 and 6 and started with six and wish I had not bought either. Very dispointed in the reader. Just listed to a little of 7 and wish I had gone stright to 7 and skipped 5 and 6 what a waste of money. I will buy those two and read them my self.
No, not on audible
The one who did the first 4 she was great.
Not sure had to quit listening I couldn't stand listening to the narrator any longer
Yes I would like a refund on 5 and 6.
I wish books 4, 5 and 6 (especially) would be re-recorded. I like Debi Mazar as an actress in the right part, but she is a terrible narrator. I wanted all of Janet's books on audio but I really hate unabridged books and I really, really disliked the narration by Debi. I may return 4 and 5 too and hope that those 3 books will be re-recorded someday.
I have almost all of the Plum books in audio and print versions. I have enjoyed almost all of them, but I could not tolerate the monotonous presentation of this story by the narrator. It became difficult to stay focused on the plot line.
Other narrators in this series actually act out the story by using inflection and different voices. This narrator simply reads the story in a monotone voice with a very heavy accent.
I finally turned it off about 1/3 of the way through.
Mazar read the book way too fast. She didn't take any pauses! Not between different characters lines, and not between paragraphs. This made it difficult to tell who was speaking and even if there was a new scene.
I am trying to read this series but it's just so sexist, racist, misogynistic, and homophobic. Stephanie is a 30 year old woman who acts like a child and needs to justify herself for some reason because she is single to her family. Her boyfriend treats her like an object and acts like women are supposed to have some sort of role. Oh and stephanie is so incompetent! She can learn stuff. Why do they judge housewives and working women? Why is Lula such a stereotype? Why do they keep on calling women degrading names? It sucks that after reading Fox and O'Hare I decided to buy 7 of these audiobooks. Plus the whole love triangle is so stupid! Fox and o'hare is not like that at all so this series is obviously not what I was expecting.
