Publisher's summary

A visit to the serene coastal town of South Cove, California, could make anybody feel refreshed and inspired. But as Jill Gardner - owner of Coffee, Books, and More - discovers, some folks won't live to tell about it....

Mystery author Nathan Pike checked into South Cove Bed & Breakfast to compose a compelling novel, not commit murder. But things get real when a rival B & B owner ends up exactly like the victim in his draft - undeniably dead. As Nathan prepares to complete his magnum opus behind bars, Jill's the only one who can prove his innocence and deconstruct the plot of a twisted killer.

This book was all over the place, but in a good way

There were a lot of things going on in this book. It kept the reader guessing as to which way the plot was going to go. I actually liked it better than the rest of her books. The narrator does have a problem with everyone sounding like 90 year old women, but it doesn't effect the story!

Best One Yet!

I’ve read every book in the series and this one is best. Excellent narration, fantastic mystery, and gut-wrenching emotion. Loved every second.

fun summer read

I liked the book as something fun to distract me instead of watching TV. A cozy mystery with a great cast of characters.

Time to Cuddle

Listening to "Hospitality and Homicide" on Audible felt like a weekend at a B&B in the south. It was very relaxing. The book is charming and entertaining, if a bit 'Nancy Drew meets Handsome Police Detective' if they're both adults.

Sometimes, when real life is like a hurricane, it is nice to read a book that soothes and cuddles.

One of the things I like about this Author is that descriptions are very detailed. I enjoy this level of detail because it is nice to picture events and characters.

Grab a cup of tea and some oreo's or your snack of choice, and be sweetly comforted, because that's what this book has to offer. Step onto the sand and enjoy. I need some oreo's.

Bk 8--still going strong

Book 8 is a progressive addition to the series, giving it a boost in the storyline. Love is in the air as Jill Gardner is a busy store owner while attending college and --and--and. Which doesn't leave as much time for her snooping. The pace is constant. Crimes the didn't even know they were solving were solved.

Susan Boyce's narration brings you back to South Cove.

This series, has become a friend I visit everytime another book is released. We need the next book sooner rather then waiting so long.
