Hidden A Bone Secrets Novel Book 1

The bone secrets was interesting and it was amazing that the book feel very fast in the began but as the chapter move forward things began to look very interesting and all the search point to the business man the Harper Developing real estate. The murders victims were all people who has worked and brought justices to the women of the University gymnast. But the investigation go the reporter was able to uncover other killings that looks the same with the Co-Ed murder now the recent killings were not like the other they were all men.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was very intense and had wonderful action scenes. Some emotional scenes as well as a bit of humor, I would say it was perfectly balanced. There a parts that could possibly be a trigger for some people. The narrator done an amazing job with all the characters. I recommend this book.

Great book really enjoyed this story. Kept you guessing a bit which I enjoy. Some parts you expect what happens but it was a great book

Long and improbable

The story is improbable. It started out okay (sans narrator), but the story devolved to needless and out of chapter twisty turns. I won’t be buying more in the series. The female narrator should avoid “male” voices. Her range doesn’t go low enough and therefore the attempt is to be avoided.

(Romantic Suspense-Recommend (Focuses on story more than romance)

I really enjoyed this novel - the author created an excellent and entertaining story! She included great characters, who are admirably well developed, encouraging the reader / listener to become invested and really care about them as individuals, as well as their roles in the story. Overall, the book is creative and it contains an intelligent storyline with plot(s) full of substance, depth and suspense, along with a few interesting twists. The narrator, Kate Rudd, did a great job in her performance of "Hidden" and highlighted / enhanced the author, Kendra Elliot's work, thereby making the listening experience even better and more enjoyable. She began with higher than average material with this novel and had the opportunity to use her own talent along with hard, yet intelligent work, to add value in a positive way to the foundation she was given. In my opinion, she did very well, and achieved success! I find each narrator's performance noteworthy as their role is critical to the experience and when done well (my opinion), I like to acknowledge their success!
I enjoyed "Hidden" and do recommend it to others searching for a good Romantic Suspense or Romantic Mystery type of book.

So-so book

The story was just okay. Not the worst and certainly not the best. The narrator was awful in my opinion. She had very choppy speech and just wasn't that great overall.

Someone is revenge killing...but whom?

Good story. Someone appears to be revenge killing everyone involved in the trial of a serial killer...but who is it? Dr. Lacey Campbell is next...can former detective Jack Harper keep her safe?
Slow burn story with all of the action in the last couple of chapters.

Was the narrator a computer?

Would you try another book from Kendra Elliot and/or Kate Rudd?

This story was enjoyable, not amazing, but what I expected when I chose the book.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

Somewhat predictable, but a very small twist at the end I wasn't expecting.

Would you be willing to try another one of Kate Rudd’s performances?

Absolutely not! It was not until a second character was introduced that I realized it was not a computer reading program. Even then, the difference in voice was minimal. Siri reads my emails with more inflection and natural cadence. I couldn't listen to the narration after the first two chapters and had to read the book myself.

Any additional comments?

If you did not like this book, give the author's other books a chance. I listened to her third novel in this series, "Buried", and enjoyed it more. The narration, by Luke Daniels, made a huge difference!

loved it..

I have listened to several of her books. I like the adventure, suspense, thrills, she puts in her story lines. I listen on my commute to work and back so I get books in while driving.. I actually want to go to work now.
