FBI Agent Dillon Savich is on a challenging case involving the kidnapping of two teenage boys when trouble boils up in his personal life. His younger sister Lily has crashed her Explorer into a redwood in California's Hemlock Bay. Is it another suicide attempt, the second since the loss of her young daughter some seven months before? Savich and Sherlock discover that four of Lily's paintings, left to her by their very famous grandmother, artist Sarah Elliot, now worth millions, are at the heart of an intricate conspiracy. Lily and art broker Simon Russo are thrust into ever-widening circles of danger that radiate from a notorious collector's locked room.
Dillon and his sister Lily both have to face their worst fears to survive.

I have enjoyed other Catherine Coulter books so I was very disappointed in the story. I actually thought someone else wrote the book ... it wasn't up to her standards.
The wording was so boring and the narrator was mundane that I lost interest and didn't even finish the book. I have enjoyed the other books in this series which made it very disappointing for me. I will think twice before I purchase another one.
Sandra Burr or Susan Erickson
I don't know (all) ... I like Sherlock & Savage in the other books but not in this one.
Waste of my money
FBI series by Coulter. I enjoy these books. I have read them all but it has been awhile. Pretty light but always fun. Savich and Sherlock are great. It was interesting with the narrators each reading the chapters together with the man doing all male voices and the female doing all the female voices. I don't think I have heard it done that way before.
Male narrator was not good; lacked inflection; totally changed the visual picture of the lead characters.
Didn't really care for the story line. Got better towards the end. I read sequel-written books and felt I had to finish this one - just because.
My favorite narrators are Joe Mantegna and Dick Hill
Not based on this story line.
I enjoy detective series of books, especially Issac Bell, Alex Cross and Michael Haller. Biographies, most recently was Unbroken...
Lots of lost sleep... just couldn't turn it off and go to bed.
This was my first Paul Costanzo and Renee Raudman performance and now I am looking at others to add to my list. Absolutely great!
First Catherine Coulter book, found it by accident and a great find it was, looking forward to more of her writing.
