Callahan Garrity is the owner of House Mouse, a cleaning service that tidies up after Atlanta's elite. She's also a former cop and a part-time sleuth. She and her coterie of devoted helpers can ransack a house for clues faster than it takes a fingerprint to set.
Keeping Rita Fontaine, a washed-up 1960s teenage rock star, out of jail is a tough job. It's nothing less than murder when Stu Hightower, the vain, temperamental president of a thriving Atlanta recording company, is found murdered in the den of his posh home. His only companions are the slug in his heart and Rita, dead drunk and looking guilty. Callahan believes in Rita's innocence, but discovering who killed Hightower could send her floating down a river of lost dreams without a paddle.

This is a good series with good solid realistic characters. Callahan is funny, intelligent and bravee. I like her and her supporting cast. If i can't find these books on audible, I will get them for my kindle.
Exciting adventure music
I enjoy Hillary's performance but her not being from Georgia has her mispronouncing words like Kudzu, and Dekalb. There are others but those are the only 2 that come to mind. Hillary please research your pronunciations especially when reading for a southern author.
I would have loved to listen to it all in one sitting but time just does not allow that.
yes - just adore listening to these books
you get closure on every level
She is an excellent narrator - really brings the story and the characters to life
Callahan sleeping in her van and covered in bites to spy on Mac
What a way to sum up this excellent series. I have a book hangover and would happily purchase another in this series!
It was just a great story line, each book kept me wanting to continue the story.
All of the characters, they were each described in detail. I could easily picture them and loved hearing the different voices.
She was GREAT! Her performance kept me interested the entire time.
When Callahan breaks up with her boyfriend. It was sad and so heart breaking.
