At a Hallowe'en party, Joyce - a hostile thirteen-year-old - boasts that she once witnessed a murder. When no one believes her, she storms off home. But within hours her body is found, still in the house, drowned in an apple-bobbing tub.
That night, Hercule Poirot is called in to find the "evil presence". But first he must establish whether he is looking for a murderer or a double murderer.

Say something about yourself!
It was a good book don't get me wrong but it was very slow to develop. This may just be the Christie style, but at times I was bored. However, I was surprised by the end and did enjoy trying to follow the detectives thought pattern and predict the killer. Definitely a very in depth and complicated story which deserves props. And its Christie.
Fraser is a master of conveying the action in appropriate tones.
I will purchase more Christie novels.
True Agatha Christie
Very good orator
If you are an Agatha fan, this is one of her best, and I've read most of her works.
