Meet Fletcher Moon. Half-pint schoolboy and fully qualified private investigator. Since graduating online, he has solved all sorts of minor mysteries at school and at home. It was only a matter of time before things got serious. The shortest detective in town is on the biggest case of his life.
Raymond Chandler meets Inspector Gadget in this fantastic first title in a brand new series.

"Kids who enjoy comic mysteries will have a great time with Half Moon, and the conclusion drops plenty of hints that this could become a series." (School Library Journal)
This book is thoroughly enjoyable, with plot twists to make Sherlock Holmes scratch his head. I hope Eoin Colfer writes a few more Half Moon stories.
Hugh Lee does a brilliant job creating believable characters and keeping the wit and pace of the story alive. Five stars for a great performance and excellent entertainment.
A disjointed story, and difficulty in following voice changes
Define the expected listening audience better
By selecting voices that were more universally interesting
Tedious descriptions of characters
Perhaps I am the wrong person to review this title, I can generally enjoy most detective stories, but not this one-- perhaps I should have paid more attention to the supplied voice sample.
"Half Moon Investigations (Unabridged"
I listened to this audio book and couldn't put my Ipod down. It's about a young boy and how at the tender age of 12 he is a brilliant detective. It is very humerous but with a lot of dry wit and an easy to listen to dialogue. You remember each character because they are so well described that they actually come to life. There is no need to rewind any of the audio book because you can't forget what has gone before. I bought it for my nine year old and now have got myself hooked!I listened to the whole book in one day. Brilliant! Five stars
