"Great listen, but something is missing..."
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

    Definitely some suspenseful material

Have you listened to any of Jennifer VanDyck’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    Yes, Solid!

    Any additional comments?

Make sure you listen to Night Sins first! Great characters and great build up for the end, once the mystery is revealed there is not enough details about all that the "bad guys" did. I'm not one to rewrite an authors book but this ones ending did let me down a bit. still highly recommend it! But I feel like there is a lot left unresolved with these great characters.

"Beware, this is a continuation of another book."
Would you try another book from Tami Hoag and/or Jennifer Van Dyck?

Yes, I think Tami Hoag is a good author.

If you’ve listened to books by Tami Hoag before, how does this one compare?

This one isn't as great as others.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

    The performance was ok.

Did Guilty as Sin inspire you to do anything?

    Nope

    Any additional comments?

The list of characters was really long, and I had to write them down in a notebook to keep track. I don't know why so many characters were needed for the story.

Very complicated plot but very well thought out and portrayed. Good character building and loved the complexity of the players.

I am addicted to talking books, but only mystery/thrillers or some particular authors like Terry Pratchett.

"Two parts of an excellent book"

This is not a sequel to Night Sins so much as the second part of the story, which was unfinished in the first. Both books are very long and I was surprised by how gripping they were all the way through. Really good.

"Actually Part 2 continuation of Night Sins"

Jennifer Van Dyck does a superb job narrating both novels. Each character has a distinct voice and I never got them confused. I especially liked her portrayal of the children.

About the story. Well, I felt like the author was told to write two books of more almost 600 pages each (18+ hours each as an audiobook) and end the first one in a cliffhanger to be completed in volume two. Consequently, there is so much filler that I felt like I was treading water waiting for the plot to progress, when she could have filled out the characters and solidified the clues. It took me a great effort and gritting of teeth to finish this audiobook. The storyline of both books should have been condensed into one. I don't like the idea of leaving a storyline to be completed in a second book, but if they had to do it then each book should have been shortened by half. +/-19 hours each is ridiculous.
