Yes, I think Tami Hoag is a good author.
This one isn't as great as others.
The performance was ok.
The list of characters was really long, and I had to write them down in a notebook to keep track. I don't know why so many characters were needed for the story.
I normally like a good thriller, but this was all over the place and I was more looking forward to getting it over with than finding out how it ends.
Awful story, hard to follow characters. Borring
O.K. I guess
not that I could see
May be i just don't like Tami Hoag's style.
I love to read, but I can never find the time. Audible allows me to "read" while I'm doing other things.
Not sure, I couldn't get very far in the book.
I just loved her other 3 books that I read. For some reason I could not get into this book. I found my self rewinding it over and over.
I can't say if it was her performance or if the book was not interesting to me.
I love suspense, murder mysteries, psycho thriller books most of all! I listen when not taking classes for my masters degree.
This is a great conclusion to a fantastic read! Tami Hoag again does not disappoint with this book.
I thought the story was very entertaining. It wasn't dull, it wasn't unbelievable, & it was pretty quick paced.
I thought this book was well written, it wasn't an edge of your seat kind of book but it was still very enjoyable.
I'm pretty new to the whole audio book thing so it has taken some getting used to. I thought this narrator was really good except when she did the voice of Brooks, I could never get into his character as a good guy so I always thought he was kind of creepy & I've read a lot of Tami Hoag & I usually love her romances that mix into the book but this time around I couldn't get into it & I'm pretty sure it was b/c of the delivery of his voice/character by the narrator.
Reading has always been my guilty pleasure. I would take stacks of books from the library. Now I listen to Audible.
This book used all aspects of my brain. Keeping track of the characters, the individual stories, the suspense and how it all tied together was delightful work. I loved it!
Terser plot, more realistic portrayal of the investigation and trial, less repetition of dull and uninteresting conversations between main character and her creepy love interest. The main character is a prosecutor and the case should be a slam dunk, but then a bad boyfriend from her former life takes over the defense and it's like she just loses all will and ability to prosecute the case. There isn't much suspense, the pace is too slow and there are no serious developments until 3/4 of the way through the book. Basically you could slog through "Night Sins" then skip to the last 50 pages of "Guilty as Sin" without missing anything.
Yes. The narrator did an OK job with what she had, but the text was just incredibly lame.
Most of them, leaving less than 100 pages of meaningful story.
This particular story was a good idea but so very poorly executed. Repetitive phrases, way too much detail on unimportant items. Sexual harassment written as if it were flirting dialogue.
I have enjoyed Tami Hoag books before, but now I'm not sure if I will even attempt another Hoag book.
Definitely some suspenseful material
Make sure you listen to Night Sins first! Great characters and great build up for the end, once the mystery is revealed there is not enough details about all that the "bad guys" did. I'm not one to rewrite an authors book but this ones ending did let me down a bit. still highly recommend it! But I feel like there is a lot left unresolved with these great characters.
