Publisher's summary

After a lavish night of guilty pleasures in Monte Carlo, four best friends face an awful morning of arrests - and a fight for survival.

Only minutes after Abbie Elliot and her three best friends step off of a private helicopter, they enter the most luxurious, sumptuous, sensually pampering hotel they have ever been to. Their lavish presidential suite overlooks Monte Carlo, and they surrender: to the sun and pool, to the sashimi and sake, to the Bruno Paillard champagne. As the weekend moves into pulsating discos, high-stakes casinos, and beyond, Abbie is transported to the greatest pleasure and release she has ever known.

In the morning's harsh light, Abbie awakens on a yacht, surrounded by police. Something awful has happened: something impossible, unthinkable. Abbie, Winnie, Serena, and Bryah are arrested and accused of the foulest crime imaginable. And now the vacation of a lifetime becomes the fight of a lifetime - a fight for survival.

Guilty Wives is the ultimate indulgence, the kind of nonstop joy-ride of excess, friendship, betrayal, and danger that only James Patterson can create.

Wonderfully Suspenseful, Crazily Believable

James Patterson is another of my favorites, but, as with a few other of my favorite series, I have grown tired of Alex Cross. However, I have continued to read all the stand alones, and even some I missed through the years. "Guilty Wives" is another winner, another one you won't want to stop listening to. The story is wonderful, a fun filled girls weekend with unexpected deadly consequences. As for how it happened, let's just say that jealousy can be a horrible thing......give this book a listen - you won't be dissappointed!

Will not disappoint

I loved Abby’s spirit. This book captures how different dispositions deal with the same trauma in very different ways.

Exciting and DEFINITELY Worth the credit.

I enjoyed this book very much. Several times during the book my heart was racing with the suspense. Reminded me of that movie "Taken".

Awesome! Great! Terrific!

A lot of the books that are co-wrote by James Patterson have been a huge disappointment however not this one. It was great from beginning to end. I couldn't find enough time to listen to it quickly enough.

picks up speed

this is a well-written book that starts a little slow but picks up speed as you go along. the author paints a vivid picture and keeps you engaged with the twists and turns and plot twists. I enjoyed this.
