Publisher's summary

After a lavish night of guilty pleasures in Monte Carlo, four best friends face an awful morning of arrests - and a fight for survival.

Only minutes after Abbie Elliot and her three best friends step off of a private helicopter, they enter the most luxurious, sumptuous, sensually pampering hotel they have ever been to. Their lavish presidential suite overlooks Monte Carlo, and they surrender: to the sun and pool, to the sashimi and sake, to the Bruno Paillard champagne. As the weekend moves into pulsating discos, high-stakes casinos, and beyond, Abbie is transported to the greatest pleasure and release she has ever known.

In the morning's harsh light, Abbie awakens on a yacht, surrounded by police. Something awful has happened: something impossible, unthinkable. Abbie, Winnie, Serena, and Bryah are arrested and accused of the foulest crime imaginable. And now the vacation of a lifetime becomes the fight of a lifetime - a fight for survival.

Guilty Wives is the ultimate indulgence, the kind of nonstop joy-ride of excess, friendship, betrayal, and danger that only James Patterson can create.

Left you on the edge of your seat until the end

Would you consider the audio edition of Guilty Wives to be better than the print version?

The audio edition was well performed, kept the right pace and was very enjoyable.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Abbie, because of her survivability and strong will.

Have you listened to any of January LaVoy’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Haven't listened before. Enjoyed this performance.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I generally cannot listen or read in one sitting, but I found it hard to put down when life's demands called for it.

Great Performance - ok story line

The story was a bit predictable, and I felt miserable for the characters during the middle of the book, but it held my attention. I loved the reader though...great performance - I would definately listen to her again.

Great book for a newbie!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Just started listening to audiobooks & this was a great way to start. The reader was wonderful and kept the characters alive. The story was good and kept my interest . In fact my plan was to motivate myself to walk by listening to this book. But I enjoyed the book so much that i listened to it at other times as well. The only disappointment was the ending--it was pretty contrived but otherwise it was very enjoyable.

Worst Audio Book I Have Ever Bought!!!

Would you try another book from James Patterson and David Ellis and/or January LaVoy?

Never. The slowest book I've ever listened to. I should have stopped, but I just kept thinking that something exciting would eventually happen.

The plot was ridiculous.

I wouldn't've this book zero stars if possible.

Has Guilty Wives turned you off from other books in this genre?

No, I still love the genre, but I'm finished with James Patterson.

One of Patterson's better works...

Where does Guilty Wives rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Much like all of James Patterson's books, Guilty Wives is a "page turner" our whatever the audio version of the term may be. This novel is more intricate and developed than past works that can seem rushed and predictable. The heroine is a character that the reader wants to cheer on- which for me has been an atypical response given how so many of the leading ladies are punch drunk and pathetic. All and all, Guilty Wives was well worth the credit spent. Bravo JP!

Fan-freakin-tastic

This has been the best audio book I have ever listened too. The story is great and the narrating is suburb. It is very difficult to read a story with so many french personalities and accents and still make it sounds believable. January pulled it off!

I ussualy listen to audio books on my daily commute or travels, but I caught myself wanting to go for a drive just to listen what would happen next. Great book!!
