What a great series!

I am thoroughly enjoying this series of books.
It has been a long time since I have found an author that I have enjoyed so much.
I am now up to book 8 in the series and am still greedy for more.
Jim Butcher's characters come to life due to the clever narration of James Marsters.
The characters pop up time and time again throughout the series and come through as interesting and well rounded. Quite like meeting old friends when each of them come back onto the scene.
Jim Butcher does not overdo the explanations of what happens in previous books which very much make the stories flow on with very little repetition.
I hope he continues with this series as I know once I reach book 12 I will be waiting impatiently for the next installment.

Dresden's at it again

I love these books! There are very few books that I just tear though but Jim Butcher's Dresden Files top that list. I love not only the growth of the characters but of the writer as well, from book to book it feels like he's really honing his craft!

James Marsters is the perfect storyteller!

I enjoyed listening to this Dresden Files audio book. This is the kind of urban fantasy that should get more attention in the literary world.

I can't get enough of the series...

Would you consider the audio edition of Grave Peril to be better than the print version?

I love how the reader adds to perfection the character.

What did you like best about this story?

The unsuspected ending and how I can't see a solution to Harry's problems which makes me listen more.

Which character – as performed by James Marsters – was your favorite?

I loved all of the characters. Harry is my favorite I love Susan, Bob, Michael and of course the officer I can hate that woman and love her at the same time. Oh and the bad people Bianca.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

So many parts of the book moved me. I think at this point is knowing the sacrifice that each person has done for the other.
