Too much foul language

I liked the craziness of the story. It was pretty nuts. I just really wished there was not SO much language. I know a lot of people talk like that but to those of us who don’t, it’s like nails on the chalkboard each time they hear it.

Amazing likeness

I read this after a suggestion on the internet. I agree that you could change the name Amy to Amber Heard and it would remain as disturbing yet as believable a possibility.

Great, For the First 3/4

Such a good book. It’s just a shame that the author didn’t know when to stop. The book was really really good, beautifully performed by the two actors, and up until the moment Amy comes back at could’ve been a great book. But it just needed to stop there. I recommend that any reader who wants to have an excellent book just turn the thing off or close the book the moment she comes back. That’s when the story should end.

Better than the movie

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Although I still pictured Ben Affleck as Nick and Rosamund Like as Amy, the narrators did an amazing job during the audiobook and gave more context of things that were brushed over by the movie. You could really get into their heads and see how they think. Bravo

I watched the movie right after lol

I really enjoyed the way I hated them both at different times during this book lol. I am gonna be honest the movie felt very rushed and lacked feeling compared to the book so I definitely recommend giving the book a chance even if you already “know the story” from the movie.
8/10 recommend overall

Wait til it’s free

I feel like I wasted my credit. The story was somewhat interesting but slow and a little boring. Wasn’t a huge fan.

Loved this book!

The twists and turns kept me obsessed to keep reading! The author's adept use of words is both humorous and clever.

Disappointed after the hype

It kind of dragged for a while. Part two was much better than Part one but overall, still just meh. I didn’t care for the male narrator either.

Movie is better

in the beginning I did't really like the book, it was very cliche and kind of cringey. Then when it starts getting good, it gets GOOD. I liked the ending too. After reading the book I decided to watch the movie and the movie is exactly the same except maybe a little bit better. The only thing I didn't like was the narrators of this book, the woman's "man" voice was cringe and the male sounded kind of feminine and not like how his character is described. in the movie though all of the actors were exactly as to what the book described. If you can power through a little bit of cringe in the beginning then you'll love this book. I recommend the movie regardless though.

Ok But Not Great

It took a long time to get interesting, and there are interesting plot twists, but the ending seemed rather abrupt and disappointing, as if the author had to meet a deadline to turn in the manuscript. Narration was outstanding .
