Publisher's summary

Ann Silver is a cop’s cop. As the Midwest Homicide Investigator, she is called in to help local law enforcement on the worst of cases, looking for answers to murder. Hers is one of the region’s most trusted investigative positions. Paul Falcon is the FBI’s top murder cop in the Midwest. If the victim carried a federal badge or had a security clearance, odds are good Paul and his team see the case file or work the murder.

Their lives intersect when Ann arrives to pass a case off her desk and onto his. A car wreck and a suspicious death offer a lead on a hired shooter he is tracking. Paul isn’t expecting to meet someone, the kind that goes on the personal side of the ledger, but Ann Silver has his attention.

The better he gets to know her, the more Paul realizes her job barely scratches the surface of who she is. She knows spies and soldiers and U.S. Marshals, and has written books about them. She is friends with the former vice president. People with good reason to be cautious about who they let into their lives deeply trust her. Paul wonders just what secrets Ann is keeping, until she shows him the John Doe Killer case file, and he starts to realize just who this lady he is falling in love with really is....

Uplifting Story

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This is a book about faith and trust and I guess that because it is a Christian book I would be reluctant to recommend it to those who would not hear the message it carries.

What did you like best about this story?

I enjoyed the many twists and turns in the story - it kept me interested and wanting to hear more. I guess the bit I liked most about this story was listening to Paul Falcon talk about his faith and his family.

Which scene was your favorite?

When Paul and Ann married.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I didn't listen to it in one sitting but it was my constant companion for two days.

Any additional comments?

I hadn't read or listened to any of Dee Hendersons books before and have now become an avid fan. Listening to this book had me intrigued about the O'Malley's and so I have now started reading that series. Unfortunately only book 6 is available as an audiobook.

I was Blown Away at the Unvealing!!!

I really liked the narrator, he made the story manageable. The story tended to be long in the tooth, I think it was within the last 5 hours things started to POP. I liked the cases the character Paul was involved in, those cases seemed situational, he seemed to deal with them methodically and solve them quickly, of course with Ann's input. One the other hand, Ann's cases which were numerous morbid, secretive, and ongoing until the end. There is the plus side those two personalities completely matched, they were both equally yoked. She was the ying to his yang. Paul uncovered some secrets that blew my ever loving mind...

Love the story

there is one spot where I think the narrator mixes up which character should be speaking but othere than that, I think it is very well done.

The best yet!

I would have given it more stars if that was an option. Nice work Dee! Glad I had already read the O’Malley series first. Keep ‘em coming. Oh, and is there a Paul in your life ;)

Dissapointed

This was my first Dee Henderson book and i guess I expected more from all the hype about her books. I felt the pace was sluggish, far too complcated and I found the character of Ann Silver more strange than sympathetic. I wanted to like her but found her tedious instead. Even the story line seemed to plod along rather than move smoothly. Because this author has many good reviews for previous books I will probably give her another shot, but will approach with caution.
David de Vries was good with the delivery of the story

Better Than Good

Would you listen to Full Disclosure again? Why?

Part of the fun for me is trying to figure out what comes next. Therefore, cannot read again, however, the storyline here is so clean and well written that I might reference certain sections.

What did you like best about this story?

I always admire Dee Henderson's writing such suspenseful stories with clean langauge and care when developing her characters. The best part of this particular story is that there are many surprise twists. You may figure things out but then there is always something that adds to the suspense.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Would like to see Henderson books as a TV series.
