Publisher's summary

#1 New York Times bestselling author Brad Thor brings readers his darkest and most intriguing thriller yet - a terrifying story of espionage and betrayal - brilliantly paced with superb nonstop action.

Born in the shadows and kept from heads of state, there are some missions so deadly, so sensitive, that they simply don't exist.

When one such mission goes horribly wrong, a wave of dramatic terrorist attacks is set in motion. Their goal: the complete and total collapse of the United States.

With the CIA's intelligence abilities hobbled, former Navy SEAL Team 6 member turned covert counterterrorism operative Scot Harvath launches an audacious plan to infiltrate the terrorists' network and prevent one of the biggest threats the United States has ever faced.

Simultaneously, a foreign wet work team has been sent to California. Their target: one of Hollywood's most famous filmmakers.

While working on a secret documentary project, movie producer Larry Salomon has unknowingly exposed one of the world's wealthiest and most politically connected powerbrokers - a man with a radical anti-American agenda poised to plunge the nation into deadly, irreversible chaos.

As the plots rocket to their pulse-pounding conclusion and the identities of the perpetrators are laid stunningly bare, Harvath will be left with only one means to save America. Unable to trust anyone, he will be forced to go Full Black.

Intense and frighteningly realistic, Full Black is, hands down, Brad Thor's most riveting thriller to date.

Fantastic story

Brad Thor takes us all over the world with his characters and in the end good wins out over evil. What an exciting cliffhanger at the end.

Even the prelude was chilling!

Scary, realistic look at our potential future. Is there a real Scott Harvath to keep the enemy from the gate? Do we have the resolve to fight the enemy like our forefathers or will we be impotent like the British doomed because we they fought by outdated laws? This book should open everyone's eyes to the danger in the future from militant Islamic fanatics that want to rule the world......because of religion. This book may be fiction but someday could become reality!!!

Good Story but.....

Would you listen to Full Black again? Why?

I enjoyed the overall story of Full Black but once again Thor overdeveloped. His early on character developement was too deep on some smaller characters so that by the time you get to the meat of the story I was somewhat confused as to who was who. The story itself was very entertaining although somewhat unbelieveable. Harvath should have been working for the CIA, not a private security firm such as Blackwater. A private security firm would not have the cooperation and ability to pull off some of the things occurring in this book. I am trying hard to become a Thor fan but each of his books leave me a little flat. The narration was superb.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Horvath

What about Armand Schultz’s performance did you like?

Excellent ability to alter his voice for different characters.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

It wouldn't make it through the week end without some serious editing regarding the abilities of the private security firm.

Brad Thor is an amazing and gifted writer!

Would you listen to Full Black again? Why?

Yes. I was particularly drawn in by the the narration which brought the characters to life. I not only would enjoy listening to Full Black again, I will be buying more Brad Thor books now. The twist at the end is always an expected and welcomed tease for his next book. I love his style - this is my second Brad Thor book (Foreign Influence). Now, I am hooked on the audio books because I travel a lot and I can listen anywhere I am and also just before going to bed. Sometimes I find that I go to sleep with the earpiece in my ear. :)

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Yes, The intriguing characters combined with the vividness of the detail and constant action were engaging and made every chapter of the book exciting. I've traveled to some of the places mentioned in the book which made some of the descriptions Brad provided bring back some memories and made the book come even more to life for me.

Which scene was your favorite?

I have to admit that there are many scenes I could say were my favorite. The entire scene in the initial chapters at Larry Soloman's house where Brad describes in meticulous detail the scene and the danger that was all around made me feel like I was in the house feeling the clear and present danger all around. Then, when Ralston encountered the Russian hit men and how Brad painted the picture of the action and danger in the rooms, hallways, and every turn were excellent in my opinion. But, if I had to choose one, I'd say all the scenes with Riley were great because you could sense there was something more beneath the surface. There was more going on between them that was not yet fully explained. There was some definite intrigue there and as a reader...and the last scene was just what the doctor ordered. Now, I want more. I'll be pre-ordering the next book in the series!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Defending freedom in an age of unrestricted warfare

Any additional comments?

Keep 'em comin' Brad!!!
