Leaves ME wanting more...as usual!
As usual The Sookie series was very good, down to the very last drop! Sookies finds out so much and Charlaine the witer is expanding in so many ways to keep us all on our TOES! Which guy will Sookies end up choosing, I hope it will be... well, you listen to the book! Is she stuck up or is she just tired of getting hurt! I can't wait to see!

Love Sookie!
Sookie continues to develop as a character, becoming a little less wide-eyed, more complex, and still really lovable! I love the Sookie Stackhouse series, can't wait for the next one, can't wait for the HBO show, but a little nervous. Johanna Parker (narrator) IS Sookie, I don't know if I could listen to Sookie with anyone else's voice. I agree with other reviewers, start at the beginning and read them all - you won't be disappointed.

I LOVE Amelia! (no spoilers)
I LOVE Amelia and Ms. Parker’s voice acting for her character is so well done it makes me love her even more. I know she’s been with us for a while now, but dammit, she’s just so infectious and lovable. As usual a good story arc progresses throughout the book and the free preview of “Dead and Gone” at the end opens up this series for a lot more plot lines and story potential. I for one plan to keep forging ahead in this journey.

Love this series!
This was another entertaining installment in the world of Sookie. This series makes me want to keep coming back for more. I am getting ready to start book 9 out of 13. I will be a bit sad when the series is over. This audiobook was narrated by Johanna Parker. She does an excellent job.

This is a great series....
but, this is not the best book of the 8 so far. I couldn't put down the other 7, read them rather than listened to them, but this one is not quite up to par as far as being as interesting. Contrary to what some others have said, I think the narrator is quite good, much better than a lot of them on other books I have listened to lately. Since this book, #8 in the series, is not going to be released until March I was thrilled you had it here on audible.com.

Sookie needs a vacation after this story
Where does From Dead to Worse rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
It is among my favorite, but I have so many favorites that I don't rank them.
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
Yes, Yes, Yes. Every time I think the craziness is going to calm down another dilemma occurs. But the action is so exciting that I loved every moment.
What does Johanna Parker bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Everything to these stories, she brings life to the character that is very realistic. Her voice creates a real world out of a make believe world.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, but it so long you can't.
Any additional comments?
After I listen to the story, I'm amazed how much happens in each story. I love the way there is humor even in tragedy.
