Publisher's summary

Stephanie Plum, Trenton, New Jersey's favorite pistol-packing, condom-carrying bounty hunter, is back and on the trail of a revenge-seeking waitress who's skipped bail. With the help of 73-year-old Grandma Mazur, ex-hooker Lula, a transvestite musician named Sally Sweet, and the all-too-hospitable, all-too-sexy Joe Morelli, Stephanie might just catch her woman. Then again, with more mishaps than there are exits on the Jersey Turnpike, including murders, firebombs, and Stephanie's arch-rival bounty hunter chasing after the same fugitive, Stephanie better watch her back big-time if she wants to live to crack this case.

Love it!!

Would you consider the audio edition of Four to Score to be better than the print version?

Never Read the Book

What does CJ Critt bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I really like the voice and reading of CJ Critt - hated the lady in Book 5.

Stephanie ROCKS!

Not my favorite narrator, but after Lori Petty, I just missed the Jersey accent. I will say this, Critt isn't as bad as the other reviewers are saying. I still laughed outloud! I think her worst character voice is Lula, she sounds like an old southern man...??? She does the Mother of Stephanie with a Jersey accent, so why not Stephanie? I don't get it??? I still recommend it, because the story itself was the best so far out of the first 4. I'm trying to go in order and have just downloaded 5,6 & 7 with yet another 2 new narrators. Wish me LUCK! :)

Could Not Stop Laughing Out Loud

What did you love best about Four to Score?

Every word in this crazy book.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Four to Score?

the whole book

Which character – as performed by C. J. Critt – was your favorite?

Sally, Grandma, Lula, Stephanie, IE: all of them.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Yes I sure did. Both, it made me laugh so hard that I was doubled over wiping my eyes crying. There were no breaks in the total hysteria going on.

Any additional comments?

Janet E, got the Italians down to a science. She is so spot on. I absolutely love her books. Stephanie's grandmother is my Aunt Frieda, her dad is my Uncle Joe and her mom is my Aunt Lucy, all from Brooklyn.

Dysfunctional Bounty Hunter and Friends

First off CJ Critt does not do a bad job. I know Loreiei King is a favorite, which I do love her, but CJ Critt is getting a bad rap. Don't be discouraged by all the negative comments on the narration,
Too many new characters coming into play. Joyce needs to go or either have Stephanie kick her ass so she leaves. Terri really needs to go. She better not get in between Plum and Morelli. They belong together, Lula stays. She is getting better. Sally Sweet is just fine, Grandma Mazur is a keeper and a hoot.
Another dysfunctional FTA for Stephanie. I don't know how she gets so unlucky and lucky. I do like her go with the flow attitude. She cracks me up with her attitude on working out and her love of food. I like how Joe says she's a walking disaster but then he is crazy about her too.
Team Stephanie and Joe!!

The Best Stephanie Plum story and narrator (CJ Critt)

My favorite Stephanie Plum story. I listen to it often. And there's no better narrator for the novels than Critt. I hate that she's no longer the series narrator. Oh well. I don't really enjoy the other stories anyway.
