What would you do if you woke up to the sound of screaming....
in the trunk of a car....
beside a dead cop....
with no idea where you were....
In Flash, Troy and Emmy are about to find out.
Imagine The Bourne Identity meets The Firm.
Two blood-spattered strangers awake, locked in the trunk of a car - with a murdered cop and the smoking gun. Aside from raging headaches and no idea what's happened, they appear to have nothing in common. Troy thinks it's 2001 and he's still a combat surgeon fighting terrorists in Afghanistan. Emmy believes it's 2002 and she's still grifting a living from the streets of L.A.
Are they archenemies or co-conspirators? Lovers or friends? What are they doing in the Caribbean, and why is a Croatian assassin determined to kill them? The only thing they know for certain is that they'll be spending the rest of their lives in prison if the police catch them before they learn the truth.

When I first look for this book I had noticed author's note what to expect while reading his books. Baldacci and Child fans will find themselves smiling. First I couldn't decide what to think about it but then i got curious and read both betrayal and flash in four days.
Only thing I can say it was beyond my expectations and I will be looking for his novels from now on.
Dick hill is a wise choice for the reader, and the story was a delight to follow.
It kept you listening, till the conclusion , and was easy to follow, and was plausible . The reading didn't, have or need any profanity, which was nice.
A very nice and wholesome ending, made you feel good.
I listen to a lot of audio books, and this one is one of my favorites. And yes it was.
For upcoming novels, I hope you stick with mr hill as as the reader.
This was my first Tigner read but you can bet there will be more. I was totally impressed.
Over sixty, avid reader, Masters in German Literature.
A well-written and creative adventure that makes fantasy seem plausible . While at times a bit contrived, the story does take you on a fast paced ride that does not disappoint . For any reader who enjoys Lee Child , it is a sure thing.
I've now read 2 books by Tigner (BETRAYAL and FLASH) and both are totally unique, HIs imagination and ideas and detail are wonderful FLASH was gripping but I kept reading and then felt it was gone in a flash but it really was over 12 hours of a fascinating story. BETRAYAL began in Afghanistan and the moved to the DC area; FLASH gets into financial schemes and Grand Cayman. His books start sort of slow and lay the whole detail bases of the exploding narrative to come. And when the tension begins, the story is amazing;. I can't wait until other books from this author come on Audible. I've written him and found out one is coming out in August. Right now - I want more. The two so far show an understanding of body chemistry and drugs which become weapons REALLY REALLY GOOD. I recommend this author highly.
Dick Hill as usual is wonderful and totally the right narrator for the book.
This book is an interesting mix of action, science, good and evil. It keeps moving and never fails to be entertaining. The concept of the Flash is original and entertaining. I alway enjoy Dick Hill as a performer too.
I didn't know what I was going to think and I was pleased that it was such a great book!'
I can't wait to see what happens to the characters in the next book!!'
Grandpapa, Enginer, Eagle Scout. Favorite book = Last of the Breed. Greatly enjoy Jack Reacher series by Lee Child.
The book was good throughout. Grabs your attention and keeps it.
The whole book was good. I enjoyed the island information and the medical info as well.
Absolutely. But so good you want to make it last by listening to a little each day.
I have listened to two of Tigner's books and just downloaded the third. Please keep'em coming Tim.
I'm a audio book junkie and I had exhausted my regular authors. Took a look at Tim's book and downloaded it. Wow was I glad. I'll put him at the top of my list.
Compelling story, great charters and style.
I also enjoy Dick Hill. In fact I found the book because I've never had a bad experience with a Dick Hill read book.
