Stir the pot: Lula recruits bounty hunter Stephanie Plum to help her find the killers and collect the moolah.

Add a secret ingredient: Stephanie's Grandma Mazur. Enough said.

Bring to a boil: Can Stephanie hunt down two killers, a traitor, five skips, keep her grandmother out of the sauce, solve Ranger's problems and not jump his bones?

Warning: Habanero hot. So good you'll want seconds.

    "A little Disappointed"

I love the 'Number' books and have enjoyed all of them. This one, kinda left me, less than enthused. First, it is only a little over 6 hours long. That is one travel day for me. Second, I just didn't think it had the same fun as the other ones I have read.
It is still a fun read but leaves you wishing there were more meat to the story, rather than just pineapple upside down cake.

    "So It Isn't Just Me!"

I am glad to read the comments here. On another site, a group of mature women all raved about this book so I rushed to download it s I have read all from the third installment. I love the dark mysterious Ranger but even he is starting to get on my nerves allowing this woman to pop in and out of his bed at will and play this teenage bimbo game. And what does it say for the tough guy cop and the dog who could use with some serious obedience traning. As for grandma, she needs to grow up! Maybe it is time for both of the men to have a potential love interest other than Steph just to heat things up and force this girl to make grownwoman decisions. I'm sick of hearing about that disgusting thong and what Bob did to it.

"Try some other of her books first"

I have read all of the Stephanie Plum books and this was not one of my favorite. It was not as funny as her previous books. But I would not discourage you from reading her other books - Four to Score is one of my favorites.

    "Blah blah blah"

    Disappointing.
When I first started reading the Stephanie Plum books, I laughed out loud and actually felt that they did a good job of being a serious mystery as well as a comedy. I've read every one...but this is my last. Janet seems to just put one out a year, regardless...and they get worse and worse. Nothing new, nothing remotely mysterious, not even good writing and more and more filthy talk.
Sadly, it seems that it is more important to just get a book out there, than to put some serious thought into making it a good one. Goodbye Stephanie Plum....

    "OMG! This was awful."

I tried but can't get through this book. I think the story line is unbelievable and the narration is bad. Grandma's voice is enough to make me turn it off alone. I give up. Moving on to something else.

    "one of the worst"

This is so not up to Evanovich. Quite possibly the worst of the 15. If you like fart jokes, you may love this one.
She has reduced Ranger to a one dimensional character and Joe barely exists. I would suggest you read almost anything but this one.

    "See ya later, Stephanie"

I have come to love this series, and each June look forward to a new guilty pleasure quick read. The predictibility, increasing profanity, and lack of anything new this year is as disappointing as the "between the numbers" books. I am moving on!

    "Something's gotta change."

I read some other reviews that said this was better than fourteen, they were lying. I'm pretty sure Ms. Evanovich is just having her assistant write these books at this point. There's no conflict anymore, the characters aren't doing anything interesting or new and I only finished listening to it because I was stuck in a car for many, many hours.

    "Not Very Good"

The story was not that good. There were times that the characters were funny but the reader did not do what could have been done with the dialog. I would not recommend the book.

    "disappointed"

I'm a huge Janet Evanovich fan and have read all her books but was really disappointed in "15". What happened to Lula and Tank's engagement? When is the plot going to move on? The relationships are still the same. Joe or Ranger, Ranger or Joe? Stephanie still doing the same old thing. I was hoping for a little progression in the story line.
