"A fast-paced spy thriller." (People)
If you're expecting the Rapp adventure story pass on this book as it is a long political drama with minimum action, I hope the author doesn't continue on this path or I will no longer read any of his books
As always a great book by VF. Rapp is my favorite espionage character & is on par or above others like- Clancy's John Clark or Thor's Scot Harvath.
Mitch rap got married but his new bride cannot change him. Mitch is still in control of his game but his love life is beginning to show he is really as human as the rest of us.
This is a really good story of deception and payback with many twists before the trail. Mitch is learning to work smarter and safer after all he is getting older and he is getting a lot of pressure from both his spouse and boss.
A good blend of suspense and humor through this book.
Love this author love this character and all his supporting cast. The narrator is smooth and easy on the ears, exciting when called for. A wonderful combination for audio books.
I am usually very captivated by Mitch Rapp's career and adventures. However this book has so many storylines going on and different characters and not enough of Mitch Rapp. I found it kind of hard to keep up with the story and didn't enjoy it quite as much as the other books I've read in this series. The narrator is one of the best and always enjoy his performance.
